Good news, friends. Amazon.com is now stocking the Platinum Edition reissue of Generation 1 Trypticon. Platinum Edition Trypticon has previously been available from overseas retailers and also Amazon Canada, but is now in stock and is ready to ship from the US facing version of Amazon. Amazon US is selling Trypticon for $163.22 – a decent price for the first Decepticon city-bot. In related news, Amazon’s Canada shopfront has now delisted Platinum Trypticon – could it be that Amazon has sent the big guy’s remaining stock south of the border, or is this purely a coincidence?
