As we near 2016, we also near the end of the Combiner Wars line and its transition into Titans Return. However, it’s not done yet. The first pre-order listings for the upcoming CW deluxe wave 6 (wave 2 of 2016) are up! Along with the listings, we also have the prices and official stock photos! The wave includes Smokescreen who is a retool of the Streetwise mold with a new paintjob and head, Hound who is a retool of Swindle with new paint and a new head, Wheeljack who is a heavy remold of the Breakdown mold to fit his G1 alt mode more accurately, and finally Trailbreaker, who is a slight remold of Offroad with new head, new paintjob, and a new right arm which pays homage to his G1 incarnation’s gun arm. Another new notable feature on Trailbreaker is that he has an entirely unique combiner hand/foot sculpt. Instead of the usual four fingers, the hand has two blocky fingers and one blocky thumb. The reason for this appears to be another homage to his G1 incarnation as the combiner hand seems to fit on his back to emulate his forcefield generator!
