Via the twitter feed of @X Hara we have a look at a Wonderfest 2016 garage kit. Wonderfest is usually the home to all sorts of interesting garage kit items in extremely limited runs, produced under special one-day licenses from the rights holders. What we have here is a resin kit of Masterforce’s Metalhawk, the leader of the Autobot Pretenders in the 1988 Japanese cartoon series. This Metalhawk boasts a nice amount of show accuracy, a full transformation, and his Hawk Saber sword. The poseability looks good, too – though as a resin kit, this one is going to be pretty fragile so our advice to owners would be to handle with extreme care!
@X Hara also has a look at a rough prototype of a kit of the one-shot ensemble darkhorse Autobot bounty hunter, Devcon. There’s a note saying it is a rough prototype of something they hope to have ready by Wonderfest – watch this space.
