The January issue of Licensing Made In magazine is out now and it highlights details of several Official Hasbro Transformers Merchandise Licence Holders who will be showcasing products at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair.
So, here comes a potential SPOILER!
Panini will release a bi-monthly Transformers story magazine from June 2017. A quick summary is provided and it’s a curve ball. We do not know whether the spoiler is for Transformers: The Last Knight or for Transformers: Robots In Disguise. Is the spoiler big or small? It depends on whether it’s TLK or RID.
What does it say? Find out, after the jump.
Description:
“The robots return to newsstands with stories that are set after the end of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The giant robots have left the earth and have returned to Cybertron, where they must reconstruct society that has been divided by thousands of years of conflict. From June 2017, the magazine will be available every two months in comic book stores and book shops”.
Here’s the thing: Panini is already manufacturing content for Transformers: Robots In Disguise. They’ve also done so for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and Transformers: Animated in the past. Given the fact that Michael Bay‘s strict policy for spoilers is in place, this has a potential to be directed more towards Transformers: Robots In Disguise rather than Transformers: The Last Knight. But the ominous June 2017 release date could be a giveaway that this may be for TLK.
If the description is for RID, then it’s not a major spoiler. Previous information states that the upcoming season will take place on Cybertron where the premises is described quite closely as the description above.
If it’s for Transformers The Last Knight, then… We’ll let you discuss on the thread associated with this news post.
